WHY “E-TEAM”?
Epaphras was the fellow who, after likely coming to faith under Paul’s preaching in Ephesus, carried the gospel back to Colossae and founded the church there. Paul wrote to the Colossians, encouraging the church with the truth that Epaphras was “always wrestling for you in his prayer” (Col. 4:12). Because of the nature of our work in Baltimore, we need not only people praying for us, but people “wrestling” with the Lord on behalf of our church and community…like Epaphras. Hence, E-Team.
